Zainab e Alia — Empowering Orphaned Girls Through Education
In many parts of Pakistan, orphaned girls are among the most vulnerable members of society. They often face systemic neglect, a lack of educational opportunities, and a heightened risk of exploitation. In 2024, Aal e Imran Welfare Organization took a historic step to address this by establishing Zainab e Alia—a premier Higher Secondary School and residential program dedicated to orphaned girls in Muzaffargarh, Punjab.
A Sanctuary of Dignity
Zainab e Alia was born out of a deep concern for the safety and future of girls who have lost their fathers. Our program provides more than just a roof; it provides a sanctuary. The residential facility is designed to offer maximum security and a loving, home-like atmosphere. Under the constant care of qualified female staff and mentors, the girls are protected and nurtured. We believe that protecting the dignity and chastity of these girls is our highest religious and moral duty.
A Curriculum for the Future
At Zainab e Alia, we don't just follow the standard curriculum; we enhance it. Our students receive a high-quality education in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) alongside a deep grounding in Islamic studies and Arabic language. We want our girls to be the doctors, teachers, and engineers of tomorrow. In addition to academic pursuits, we provide vocational training in skills like advanced tailoring, digital design, and management. This holistic approach ensures that when they leave our care, they are fully independent and capable of contributing to the prosperity of Pakistan.
Inspired by Greatness
The program is named after Syeda Zainab (AS), whose courage and eloquence are legendary. We strive to instill these same qualities in our students. Through character-building workshops and leadership training, our girls learn to face the challenges of life with faith, resilience, and intelligence. They are taught that their status as orphans does not define their limits, but rather serves as a starting point for a journey of greatness.
Tangible Success in Muzaffargarh
The impact of Zainab e Alia is already visible in the Muzaffargarh community. Girls who arrived with significant educational gaps are now topping their boards and participating in national-level competitions. Their success stories are proof that when given equal opportunities and a safe environment, orphaned girls can outshine their peers. We are currently supporting over 50 girls, with plans to expand as more sponsors join our mission.
Your Role as a Guardian
The Prophet ﷺ promised immense rewards for those who take care of girls. The cost of providing comprehensive care—including 24/7 security, healthcare, nutritious meals, and private school-level education—is Rs. 8,500 per month per girl. In a district like Muzaffargarh, where many are forced into early marriages or domestic labor due to poverty, your sponsorship is a lifeline. It is an investment in a woman who will one day educate her own children and transform her entire community.
Become a guardian of a girl's future today. Join the Zainab e Alia program and earn a reward that never ends.
